Our mission is to bridge fundamental discovery and therapeutic application by publishing high-quality research that elucidates disease mechanisms, informs therapeutic development, and enhances translational and clinical impact.
All manuscripts are first evaluated by the Editorial Board for alignment with the journal’s aims, originality, methodological rigor, and mechanistic relevance. Submissions meeting these standards proceed to double-blind peer review. The first decision is typically communicated within 5–6 weeks.
