Nexus of Pathophysiology and Therapeutics (NPT) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across clinical and translational science, diagnostics, biomarkers, laboratory and biomedical sciences, pharmacology, therapeutics, pharmaceutical sciences, and disease biology. NPT provides a multidisciplinary platform for research that contributes to the understanding, diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, monitoring, and treatment of human diseases, as well as the development and evaluation of innovative therapeutic and biomedical strategies.

Submission & Review Process

Initial Editorial Screening

All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment for alignment with the journal's scope, scientific significance and originality, methodological suitability, ethical and reporting compliance, and overall quality and completeness. Manuscripts with fundamental concerns regarding scope, scientific suitability, ethics, or methodological quality may be declined without external peer review.

Peer Review

Manuscripts considered suitable for external evaluation are normally reviewed by at least two independent experts under a double-blind peer-review model. The review process evaluates manuscripts according to criteria appropriate to their scientific design and objectives, including clinical and translational relevance, diagnostic or biomarker validity, methodological rigor, pharmacological and therapeutic significance, experimental validity, and mechanistic or biological rationale where applicable.
